In recent years, noble neon forms have made a grand return to the streets of Katowice. Since 2010, nearly one hundred new and reconstructed neon signs have appeared across the city — both commercial and artistic expressions of the most beautiful light-based advertising. This inspired us to showcase the beautiful things being created in Katowice. Design, tradition, and art have transformed the routine of a post-industrial city in remarkable ways. We invite you to take a walk through the streets of Katowice along the trail of neon signs that no longer exist. We have selected the most beautiful ones — those that evoke memories of change and the city’s rapid development over recent decades.
